The whole house is hosting works by local and national artists which are incorporated into the communal and room designs. The proprietor, Jane Orcullo, is a member of the local arts group, Manunggul, whose works can also be viewed in Banwa. Manunggul works cover various mediums, including painting, beadworks, carvings, arts from found objects and recycled products and musical instruments.

Banwa has strong links to the indigenous tribes of Palawan, and we are proud to exhibit fine quality handicrafts, produced mostly by Palao'an tribe of Palawan.

The design of the house with its influence from bamboo is further developed with the inclusion of all these arts and crafts to create a space for guests and visitors which is truly unique for travelling accomodation on palawan.

All arts and crafts are available for purchase by guests and visitors, and special orders can be arranged for those that find something special for themselves or friends.
